My 10th month

I desided that i will write this one in english...need the practise... If you guys want it in Germany, don't hesitate to contact me!

In the beginning of january had the Kids off from school that we spent more time together. We had a playdate and went to some nice places. 

Like it is this time of the year, they were sick and stayed home from school sometimes. 

On sunday was our cluster meeting. We learned how to make Sushi and I enjoyed mine made with rice paper. The same time player the Broncos. But they lost and this meant that the season is done for them. Too bad they are not in the superbowl!

My Hostkid goes to the boyscouts now! He loves it!

One friday night was a racecarderby... He had to make a pinewood car and we had to check the weight. We figurred out were the weights have to be that the car goes fast... When we arrived I made a lot of jokes about the people who were so serious about this! Really! It was very funny! They had the track with Computer to take a picture at the end to get the time exactly. Also did every car run down the track each lane one time because it had to be fair!

My hostkid took this very seriously also! He sat all the time on the Frack and watched... We didn't have big expectations to win something. But the car did very well... When they sat up the trophys, my hostkid want there and wanted to crab one of the little onces...:-) 

At the end he made the 3th place over all and got a big trophy!!! He was so proud!

To explain how serious they take this: we checked how much the car costs which made the first place...100$!!!! Crazy americans....

Also i went this month two times to the Grizzly Rose. One time sundays. They have Linedance lessons then. It was very busy with young people and we barely found a spot on the dancefloor... Also wrote the guy on the entrance to huge X on my hands. Later i realized that i'm signed for under 21 then... Well i had to tell the Staff and they walked  around with me, the guy had to apologize and i could wash the edding off...

Also we went to the bar fridays where they have live concerts. It was nice but dancing wasn't a big theme... So we figurred that saturday is the best day to go there!

On Martin Luther King day, we went to the Denver Stock show!

Oh by the way, i went one day down to Denver to see the parade who opens this event. They have cows walking around....

At the Stock Show we went the Rodeo and walked around there. I loves the half time shows of the Rodeo the best.;-) 

We spent our whole day there....

I started a scrapbook also... This will come back to germany...

This month was the same as my months before except that i realized that I'm already 10months there... It is very weird to think about it, so i decided not to :-D
