April April in Febuary

I have the article this name, because the whether is like April! It was so warm that you didn't need a jacket and some days later we got snow like crazy! (more later)

Superbowl: Well, everybody knows that i'm totally in to vaulting so i didn't miss the parctise this day... But i watched the last hour of this great game with my Hostdad at the Club and had dinner there and met some great people. Not so special. I think if the Broncos were in the superbowl i would have more to tell...

Also i tryed to give the Kids some sense for money... One day we had an argument about the computer and it went that far, that they said they gonna buy one by themselves. They thought they have enough money for one... So i decided to look up with them how much money a Computer would cost and then Starter to count their money so they would realize that they don't have enough! I guess it was a good lesson....

In the beginning of this month I went with 3other Au Pairs in a trip. We drive to the Air Force Academy, Royal Gorge Bridge and in a country bar. My organisation wasn't that good, because some buildings at the Air Force were closed. But the whether was great, so it wasn't too bad.

The Royal Gorge Bridge is the highest bridge in the US and the third highest in the world. We walked around there and enjoyed the sun and took nice pictures. Also we let some people take pictures from us....

After dinner we drove back and stopped at "Cowboys". Therenwere country dance lessons. I thought line dancing... Wrong! So Dayane dancer together... I had to dance in the menposition and totally scroued up everything! So i got "help and tips" from people who watched...like "you have to grap her waist and..." We had fun but the two other Au Pairs they had more fun to watch us, i guess!

Just before we left, I danced with a guy and he die crazy stuft with me. The comment was:" You have to trust your Partner!" yeah sure!!! I didn't know his name but i have to trust that he doesn't let me fall....crazy americans :-D

One night i want with the boy to his boyscoutsmeeting... He made a valentinscard for me and said:"look i clued the "Text me" sticker in it!" :-D

I tryed to make some cupcakes for valentinsday and they weren't that bad. But i'm better in making Horsetreats :-P

For Valentinsday the Kids had to make little cards for everybody in their class and make a box for their cards. Valentinsday is big here and they celebrate it different....

Spontanous I went this saturday morning in fifty shades of grey. Well I didn't like that movie that much! There are way better movies like " american sniper" and so on! I also had the Kids that night...

In the beginning of febuary I picked up the Kids from their schoolbus with the golfcar because it was that warm outside that i walked around in t-shirt and stuff. In the middle if the month it started to snow again and we had a snowstorm were it snowed all day and night! We got so much that it reached oder my ankle!

Good time to enjoy the snow day (no School because of the snow) with sleiding!

My month wasn't that interesting... So i stop talking about that boring stuff!

What i wanna say about, what Germans think about Americans...

About Food: a lot people said to me:"you will come back with more weight (had this nice compliment at the Airport in Frankfurt...) and you won't be a vegetarian anymore"... FAILE!!!!

I'm still vegetarian and enjoy all those options what i have in the restaurants! Also i eat way healthier here! Really! No Fastfood! Green Beans and stuff!

So i think that i didn't get more weicht... Actually less maybe! I don't want to say that i lost some weicht because i didn't weight myself in germany and not here either...

And the funny thing is that all the americans are shocked that i'm from germany AND vegetarian!!! Because they think the Germans eat always meat! Because of all those sausages and so on....

Funny that people but everything in a box and think everything is like this....

So, now you red enough! Bye!
